Sir In answer to your enquiries I inform you that Contracts may be entered into for supplying any number of Gun Stocks that may be wanted and at the usual price of Twenty five Cents. M^r Henry Fraley of Germantown will supply on contract one thousand Stocks a Month. If contracted for they will after inspection, be turned into the public Store and drawn from thence by order of the Secretary of War. We have a sufficient number on hand to keep a supply untill those to be contracted for are properly seasoned. This information you may use as occasion may require.
