Sir—
In answer to your enquiries Sir—
I inform you that Contracts may be entered into for supp-
lying any number of Gun Stocks that may be wanted
and at the usual price of twenty five Cents — M Henry
Appaly of Germantown will supply on contract one
thousand Stocks a Month — If contracted for they will
after inspection, be turned into the Public Stores and
drawn from thence by order of the Secretary of War—
We have a sufficient number on hand to keep
a supply, until those to be contracted for are pro-
perly seasoned — This information you may use
as occasion may require —
