Mr Rochefontaine has rendered accounts to this Office to compleat all his demands which he says he has against the Public— Before I can proceed to make any settlement I have determined on indemnifying as far as possible your payments as Public Agent, I have therefore to request that you will forward to this Office without delay a statement of your demands against him that the proper amount may be deducted from his account, this of course will embrace all payments you have made him for [undecipherable] there
