Sir, Since writing the letter that accompanies this I have shipped to your address by order of the Secretary of War, the Arms and Military Stores answering to the enclosed invoice & Bill of Lading. Hope they will get safely and speedily to hand of which I wish you to advise me. Some heavy Ordinance will I trust be with you soon for the use of several Posts in your State. I am informed by M^r De Saussure that he has delivered you the Cloathing to your address, and also that you expressed some supprise at receiving it as you had so lately received a similar supply.
