I have recd. your favour of the 20th Ultimo — & will take care Capt Lewis's letter reaches him by the earliest conveyance, but he is at present at the Walnut Hills, & of course this Event cannot be expected under five or six weeks — I shall leave this place in a day or two for Fort Washington — Be pleased to accept mine & Mrs D. s best respects & believe me with Friendship your obedt.
