Out of the Commissions due me on the Account of the last Qur. I beg You to pay to the Treasurer of the U. States, 19 Dolls.57/100 being a balance due from me as agent for procuring materials for the Naval Department at N. York, and to retain five Dolls. in your own hands in exchange for the 5 Dollar Bill inclosed to me in your Letter — after these deductions, I will thank You to remit the balance of my Acct. — The Letter from your little Daughter, was left by me at Mr Roosevelt's —
