SIR
IN pursuance of the authority of your letter of the 6th day of April 1798 — I have drawn a duplicate sett of bills of Exchange on you, No. 209 dated at Pittsburgh the 25 day of May 1798 at ten days Sight, in favour of Owen McGowen or order for the sum of Two Hundred [undecipherable] dollars, on account of the Pay of the army for 1798.
