I have heard nothing of the Howitzers for the Galleys, I will enquire about them — I have long since seen and reported on the Commander in chiefs Indents, I particularly noted that Lead, and Iron castings of every kind and to any amount might be had in the Vicinities of Pittsburgh and where a part of the Army is stationed your draft has been presented and honored. I will send you a Cask of Sherry Wine shortly such as I should chuse to drink.
