Deblois, purser of the frigate Constitution for Three thousand dollars paid him in consequence of your letter of the 15^th instant — In which he was named I presume by mistake Samuel I. Deblois — I paid yesterday to Peter Roe Dalton, Cashier of the Office of discount & deposit here of the U.S. Bank One hundred & fifty, six dollars & forty Cents being the amount of a draft dated Philadelphia 17^th May 1798. drawn at sight on me as Supervisor of Massachusetts, by Samuel Meredith Treasurer of the U. States in favour of George Simpson Esq^r Cash^r Bank of U.
