I received your letter of the 19 Inst enclosing 2 Receipts for Bounties paid by you & your subsistence account up to the 1 Instt the former have been filed in the usual way, subject to an after examination the latter as well as your pay account are suspended until your arrival, having been informed at the War Office that you are ordered on as a member of a Court martial that is shortly to be held here —

Sir I received your letter of the 8 Inst enclosing Muster & Pay rolls for April of the detachment under your command which have undergone examination and are found free of error, agreeably to your suggestion the pay of Cadet Lambkin has been deducted as well as that of Lieutt Saunders who is here at Present and wishes to receive it while on the spot, these deductions leave an amount of Drs 25 ths, which you will receive from Edward [undecipherable] Eqr Supervisor Richmond on your giving them the necessary receits holding yourself accountable —
