I enclose you a list of the alterations that were made on the for that period when they underwent examination at this O to govern you in making the payments —
I judged it might be acceptable to you to recei pay & forage as Temporary Pay Master for the present Year at New York. I have accordingly reported on the amount fo January to 30 April inclusive being Sixty four dollars, w is also remitted to Colo Fish who will pay you the sam your giving him the necessary receipts.
As respects the pay of the Garrison of West Point for h been acted on separatelly, and I beg leave to refer you on th of my letters of the 17 & 18 Instt the latter herein enclosed.
Agreeably to the request in your letter of the 7 [undecipherable] last I return you enclosed the certificate of Lieutt [undecipherable] respecting the pay [undecipherable] due to four discharged Soldiers wh are to accompany their receipts when you transmit them.
