I Certify, that it appears from the Records of this Office, that Isaac Garretson Clerk in the Navy Yard at Baltimore was paid on the 30.^th day of June 1797, by Samuel & Joseph Stertt Naval Agents at Baltimore, the sum of three hundred and seventy five Dollars, being for his Salary for six Months ending the second day of June preceeding; and also, that a like sum was deducted from a Subsequent Account of the said Agents for disbursements made by them from 1 July to 31 December 1797 for the Salary of the Clerk of the Yard; as more proper to be [underline: Settled] at the War Office — Treasury Department Registers Office 17.^th May 1798 for the Register Jos.
