This morning I am requested by the Secretary of War to direct the whole of the brass 24 Pars ordered to your address from Albany to be left at York. You will therefore please to deliver the three with their Carriages and Implementes to Colonel Stevens, and take his receipts for what you deliver. One of which you will please to inclose to me — You will recieve five 4 pounders from Major Fleming with the other Guns ordered, those you will please to send to me as soon as possible, as they are wanted immediately.
