The Soldiers being out of his reach, the amount thereof will by this oppertunity be remitted to John Habersham, Esq^r. Collector at Savannah to be paid to you for the puropose of paying it to the Soldiers, you will accordingly grant the necessary receipts on receiving the amount — Sam^l &c.
