I received your letter of the 30 Ulto enclosing Major Parkers receipt for sixty three dollars &co. which will be filed with the abstract wherein the amount has been applied to your credit.

On the 17 February last the Secretary of War issued a Warrant for seventy thousand four hundred & ninety six dollars &co. the amount of the Estimate appropriated by Congress for the pay of the authorized Militia & Scouts of the State of Georgia, agreeably to the enclosed copy of said Estimate. This sum has been placed to your Credit in the Branch Bank of Charleston So Co. subject to your order, agreeably to the enclosed copy of the Cashiers Letter, to the Treasurer of the United States on the subject. The Pay & Muster Rolls of these troops are not in this Office. I should have forwarded duplicates of them if I thought you had not a set in your posession. of this you
