Sir, Two of the Brass twenty four Pounders with their carriages and Implements are to be delivered to Cap^t Fred^k Frye Commanding on Governors Island, the other as pr my letter of yesterday to Colonel Stevens— besides these I have ordered a number of Iron Six and four Pounders to your address from Albany, or rather immediately to Cap^t Frye if they can be landed at his Post immediately by the Vessel that brings them. this you will also be pleased to note that if necessary you may give your assistance to complete the Business. a number of nine Pound Shot may also be expected to arrive with the Guns. [It is proper to note that the two Mortars only have us at first directed the others as above mentioned.
