[undecipherable] Frye Dat'd [undecipherable] May 2^d 1798 Rec'd — May [undecipherable] { 1798 Ans: —] Governor's Island May 2^d 1798 Sir I have enclosed Muster and Pay Rolls of my Company for April 1798 — I have also enclosed separate Muster & Pay Rolls of a Detachment of Recruits, turned over to this Garrison by Lieu^t. David Hale previous to his going on furlough, on the 14^th Ultimo, by Order of the Secretary of War, — I have made them up for pay for March and April, Understanding from M^r Hale they had received pay of him up to the last day of February inclusive. — I have not had the pleasure of forwarding any Receipt Rolls for a considerable time, hope I shall soon be enabled to. — My Recruiting Money is expended, and Recruits are offering Dailey, I wish some Recruiting Money may be forwarded, — I am Sir respectfully your humble Servants [undecipherable] Frye Captain [undecipherable] P.S.
