Sir I have enclosed Muster and Pay Rolls of my Company for April 1798 —
I have also enclosed separate Muster & Pay Rolls of a Detachment of Recruits, turned over to this Garrison by Lieut. David Hale previous to his going on furlough, on the 14th Ultimo, by Order of the Secretary of War, — I have made them up for pay for March and April, Understanding from Mr Hale they had received pay of him up to the last day of February inclusive. —
I have not had the pleasure of forwarding any Receipt Rolls for a considerable time, hope I shall soon be enabled to. —
My Recruiting Money is expended, and Recruits are offering Dailey, I wish some Recruiting Money may be forwarded, —
