Expecting to move in about fifteen days for Pittsburgh— I will esteem it a particular favor if you will send me a Check upon the Branch Bank or an Order upon the Controller of this district for the amt of Pay & Subsistence which is as follows —

I have left the price of the Ration Blank presuming you will be kind enough to fill it at the highest allowable
I have a Recruiting Act to settle wherein there is a balance due to the US but as my leaving paraphernalia will sell for all my present Cash, I will thank you to let that account lay over
