Sir I have just rec^d your note of this morning to Welen & Miller, and in answer have to observe that I have the full quantity of powder on hand tho' it is to be remanufactured, as it was rejected on account of the proof— Having nothing to do at my powder works during the winter, except to remanufacture the powder for the US, I thought it best to discharge the hands, and postpone it till the weather became warm— I will now however set about having it done, and the balance due the US shall be delivered in all may.— If you should have occasion for the Manufactory of Powder, I shall be happy to do it, a if [undecipherable] I will sent my powder works to the US.
