Sir,
Your letters of the 14th & 20th are received, the former covering Cash Invoices of Indian Goods & the latter accompanied by the News Papers.
On the 21st I found it necessary to draw on you in favor of Hugh Caldwell at fifteen days sight for one thousand dollars and this day I have drawn on you in favor of John Irwin at eight days sight for One thousand dollars, both of which sums be pleased to pay and charge as usual.
With respect to the Stores sent forward by Hamilton on the 21st ultimo, I have to remark that Bale No 1. Shawnee's Annuities and Box No 2. Delaware's have not been received & Box No 1. Delaware's not in invoice, is received and two boxes No 2 & 3. invoiced Wyandot are marked Potawatomie.
