I have received your letter of the 24th instant enclosing a remittance of 120 dollars for the pay of the marines on board the Frigate Constellation, which sum Shall be paid to Lieutenant Triplett, and his receipts taken as you desire.
I enclose the receipt of Lieutenant [undecipherable: Dyson] for two hundred dollars. That of Mr E Shoemaker for the late [undecipherable] is not yet arrived.
