By the enclosed Certificate signed by the Register you will perceive that the accompt of Major Hamtramch on the books of the Treasury, for the sum of two hundred and fifty Dollars advanced to him by Arthur St Clair Esquire, has been closed, in order that the same may be placed to his debit on the books of your office, where you will require him to account for it.—
You will therefore be pleased to cause such entries to be made for the purposes aforesaid, as the nature of the case may render necessary.—
