There is no [alteration?] in the Quarter Masters Stores since the said 1^st January. [Pursuant?] to your the 1^st [undecipherable] return, of [then?] inclosed you my receipt for the musket stocks. I have received no return from [Mr. Rushfontaine?] of what carriages &c the [Battiment?] artificers of the hired Blacksmith have made by his order for the ordnance since the return of his rated the 1^st last July that I [forwarded?] to you. He has his carpenters at work in a new ship in a [palisaded?] yard — and [Suppose?] he would call my going into it highly indecorous.
