Sir, I have at length obtained an order for sending to you One thousand Musket Stocks, and the remaining part of the Iron in Store purchased in consequence of a former Requisition. No opportunity presenting to transport it direct to any Contiguous Post, I am oblige to avail myself of the old method of sending by the way of New york, and they are shipped accordingly — The Captain has engage to deliver them to you or your [undecipherable] at Hartford; and as he sails to morrow or next day, I thus advise you that you may be on the look out for their arrival.
