Sir, I have received your letter of the 30^th ultimo — The Drafts you mention shall meet due honor — I will examine the return and procure the wanting Articles as soon as possible, and as soon as procured they shall be forwarded — I have delivered the Patents for your Lands to M^r Ernest to be forwarded by Doctor Stephenson who he informs me leaves the City for Pittsburg in a day or two. Important communications made by the President to Congress are printing and will be published abroad shortly.
