I Now transmit a Recruiting a[ccount] with Vouchers, as only two hundred dollar[s] have been furnished me on this service, you will percieve there is a balance due on it by the United States, which please remit to me, I have charged the whole of the bounty that Finley & Miller is intitled to, this they made a preliminary Articles before they would Reenlist as they were good Soldiers & had given sufficient proof of their Fidelity.
I Have also Sir, made up my own acc.t of pay the balance due on it I will be thankful if you will forward to me as soon as convenient.
I know not if it is necessary to forward the enlistments, to pass my recruiting acc.t on each of the inlistments the Magistrates Certificate is taken, that the recruit is an able bodied man upwards of five feet Six inches high & under forty six years of age.
Duplicate Muster Rolls & a pay Roll for the Month of March is likewise contained in this packet.
