The Cannon and Stores sent to Savannah of which you have an Invoice enclosed in my letter of the 8^th May 1794 were by special order addressed to Governor Telfair, to whom they were delivered about the 12^th of the same month the Vessel that had them on board having had a remarkable short passage — The Supply you will perceive was ample whether any of the Stores have been expended I am not informed of course am unable to Say what addition may be necessary to renew the Store. When a letter comes forward, the wanting articles if any may be supplied — the Stores have sailed for the Brigade at Baltimore. also the Clothing for Captains Blackburn and Morris Company, and also the Supplies ordered for Capt. Nalucons Company. I also the Supplies ordered, for Capt. Nalucons Company. I wish to know whether they are to be insured — we had some conversation on the Subject but nothing conclusive — As far as I know it will be unprecedented, and I am afraid besides the expence it will create alarm.
