I received your letter of the [2d]
agreeably to your request have caused a statement of your acco[unt]
to be made a copy of which you have herein enclosed, and in [it]
is a balance due [the] United States of Four hundred and [undecipherable]
Dollars and ninety one Cents chiefly arising from your not ha[ving]
transmitted the Receipt Rolls for pay of yourself and Detach[ment]
to 1st August last which I request you to do as soon as possi[ble]
your account may be credited for the amount on the Books of this [office]
