I waited at the post Office this day anxious to hear from the department of war, but I am disappointed, by last post I inclosed an Ac.t to you for my pay, extra pay, & forage for the months of January & February of this year, The am.t of Which if in your power I wish you to forward to me at this place by next post— I will leave this Immediately after the arrival of next mail for Pittsburgh unless I receive from [undecipherable] to the [undecipherable] by that, or otherwise previous to that.—
