The Treasurer of the United States
remit you the Sum of three hundred thirty two Dollars & ninety
which you will be pleased to pay to Capt Staats Morris at Fort
Point and take the necessary receipts holding him accountable

and the non commissioned Officers & Privates of the Detachment

sundry Recruiting Vouchers. the former have undergone the necessary
and there has been ten Dollars deducted therefrom, being difference
James Crawford & Isaac Cook made up as Artificers, whereas there
no men of that description to the Regiments of Infantry, this dedu
leaves an amount of two hundred fifty five Dollars & sixty six
you will receive in the usual manner from John Chester to Esqre
at Wethersfield on your giving him the necessary receipts he being
able for the due application of the same
