The examination of the Ration Rs Forms of the Pennsylvania Militia transmitted by Mr Dallas will necessarily consume a considerable time; as a number of objections have arisen it is expected will arise during the examination — those were intended communicated to the Sey of War after the examination is finished meantime I am of opinion that Mr Dallas should close his agency as he has been directed from this Office; and when a principle is fixed paying the Ration Accounts, it may be made here to the Individuals without his agency —
