I certify that from a letter of the Comptroller, dated 23d Instt covering a report by John Habersham Collector of the Customs for Savanna in Georgia dated January 2d 1795 said Habersham has applied to the Incidents & contingent expenses of the War Departt the sum of two hundred, forty four Dollars four Cent which he has Recovered out of the monies arising from duties on Imports and Tonnage; and for which he is accountable in pursuance of a Warrant to be founded on a favor of the Secretary of War, the which advances are to be assessed agreeably to the Comptrollers communication.
