Colonel Thomas Butler informs me a suitable quantity of Buntin is wanted to make ten Garrison Flags, and requests it may be forwarded to Colonel David Henley as soon as convenient—
I have written engaged what woolen cloth is to be found in this City, by which if you think proper, the Scarlet & Colours can in large quantity may be furnished

A letter came in at the War Office from a certain Charles Clinton, advising Captain Uriah Springer's having left in his possession a large Box containing Soldiers Cloathing which he person has applied for. The Secretary of War requests you to apply for and receive the above Cloathing and paying any reasonable charges that may be demanded for Storage or Keeping. Clinton states he has been from Union Town where I suppose he lives—
