I Certify that there relates to a detachment of the Corps of Artillerists & Engineers Stationed at Mud Island Fort under the command of Major Staats Tousard the sum of nine hundred & forty four dollars & eighty five Cents being for pay forage of himself pay of South Henry M. Muhlenberg & George S. Rupp pay & forage of the Surgeon and John B. Lynch and pay of the non commissioned Officers & Privates of the said detachment for the months of Jany & February 1795 which sum is payable to the said Major Staats Tousard or order who is to be held accountable for the due application aforesaid.
