Enquiry will be made respecting James Ramsey, and you will be inform'd of the result. The pay due your Rec^t [strikethrough: of E] is included in a Report from this Office to that of the Sec^y of War for Jan^y and is acted on except that of Issuing a Warrant which waits for an appropriation this will certainly take place in a very short time.
