Boats are already provided for transportation of Stores to Massac and the posts on the Mississippi, therefore the Indian Goods will be pushed forward without delay. On the 12^th Seely Hulings and Lytle delivered two cast Iron 2 #pounders very roughly cast indeed And on the 13^th, one hundred Barrels of Powder were also delivered all in tolerable good order, but several of the casks without any marks by which the quality of the Powder can be known. I have therefore to request you, if possible, to point out some means of knowing the quality of the Contents without opening the Casks.
