February 13^th 1798 Sir I received your letter of the 10^th Ins^t ant enclosing sundry Receipts for Bounties paid by you which will be filed as usual subject to a future Settlement as respects the pay of yourself & Recruits it will be necessary that you transmit monthly Pay rolls from the date of the last payment, and the amount found due on each will be transmitted thro' the usual channel.
