I am now to acknowledge the Receipt of your letter of 20th December 1797 received 28th Inst. and agreeably to your instructions have paid Capt Michael Kaltiun, the Sum of Two Hundred Dollars on account of the Recruiting service, and herewith I enclose you his Receipt therefor. —
