Document 1798Enclosed is a general return of stores through November 1797 for the posts at Fort Franklin, Le Beouf, and Presqu'isle. Craig has drawn on Hodgdon for five hundred dollars in favor of John Wienshall. The Philadelphia mail was late and set off again in just a few minutes so there was no time to acknowledge receipt of Hodgdon's letter. This irregularity should be made known to the Postmaster General.
