I was appointed a Major in the Ninth Regiment of this State on the 26^th of November 1796 and was under an Act of Congress deranged some time in the year 1798 I think in September — I am informed the Warrants issue from your Office; should this be the case, you can no doubt inform me whether my name is Registered and what the number of acres I am intitled to, with the legal steps to obtain the same.
