In the House of Representatives of the United States, Monday, the 15^th of January, 1798. On motion, Resolved, that a committee be appointed to enquire into the expenditure of the monies heretofore Appropriated for a naval Armament, — And also, into the causes of the delay in completing the same; — And that they report their opinion thereon, to the House. Ordered, that M^r Livingston, M^r Dana, M^r Josiah Parker, M^r Rutledge, and M^r Sewall, be appointed a committee, pursuant to the Said resolution.
