Pittsburg 12^th January 1798 Sir, Your letter of the 5^th instant is this moment come to hand — In order to complete my accounts up to the end last year I have to wait the arrival of Captain Bejell's Rolls as they come to hand an account current shall be made out & transmitted to you accompanied by the Relative Rolls Vouchers and it is probable that I may be enabled to transmit them by next post. You will see by the enclosed order of the Commander in Chief and Receipt thereon that I have paid to Captain D^r Mitchell one hundred and fifty dollars for which he, Captain Mitchell, is to account with you and which you will please to place to my credit.
