Sir,
I have the honour to enclose to you a Statiment of my recruiting Account for your examination, in which Statiment you will find 216 dol. 90 Cents ballance due the Recruits for their Bounty, Which I wish you to transmit to Capt E. Miller or myself as soon as it can be done as I have promised those who have not recd 10 dollars that they should have it made up to them on their arrival at this place And I have also found it necesary to advance money to a considerable Amount, in my private capacity, for the Debts, of those who have recd 10 dollars as well as others, This has been paid to keep the Soldiers from the hands of the Sheriff and on other urgent occasions
