Sir —
By Post this day I have received your favour of the [undecipherable] — It will not be very practicable should the Iron Master, have the Iron you ordered, as I have only for placed Ironwork for the Carriages, and I expect a number of guns will go forward for mounting — Have is drawn and making ample advances to Hamilton, to promote his drawing on you, but it seems bad management as he lately keeps him forever needy — I will make the stoppage on your advance and place the amount to your credit. —
