Sir
The Muster Rolls of the 1st Regt Light Dragoons commanded by Colo Anthony Walton White in the Years 1780 & 1781 are not on file in this Office, but I have always understood the Musters for that Period were lost in Action to the Southward consequently cannot ascertain the Services claimed by Robert Simons Cornet & Lieutenant neither can I find by inquiry at the War Office that any person of his name was ever commissioned an Officer in said Corps.
