Ensign W^m R Boote New Brunswick Accountants Offi[ce] December 12 179[7] Sir I duly received your letter of the [ ] Inst^t enclosing three receipts for Bounty paid by you which are p[repared] in the usual manner, also muster and Pay Roll of the detachme[nt] under your command to 30 November 1797. inclusive. to the latter y[our] pay, has been added from 11^th October last (the which day you recei[ved] pay in advance in this Office) amounting to forty One dollars 4[80]/m[ills] in all Ninety three dollars 4[00]. from which deduct 15 Cents overcal[culation] on pay of John Stiles Parsons, leaves an amount of Ninety three Dol[lars] and fourteen Cents which sum you will receive from Nicholas Fish C[ollector &] Supervisor New York, on giving him a duplicate receipt, holding yours[elf] accountable for the due application of the same.
