I am now to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 24th Ultimo, and herewith inclose you my Duplicate Recipt for nine Dollars and forty four Cents (which Sum has been remitted me from the Treasury, being for account of my Commission on Monies received and paid by me from the War department for the quarter ending 30th Sept. 1797. agreeably to Warrant No (2373.) of the Secretary of War.
