I am now to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 26th Ultimo, and herewith return you my duplicate Recept for nine Dollars and forty four Cents (which Sum has been remitted) and from the Treasury, being for account of my Commission on a Momin received and paid by me from the War Department for the quarter ending 30 Sept. 1797, agreeable to Warrant No 2(273.) of the Secretary of War.
