I have given your account (as Captain in the fourth Regiment) a credit for all the sums refunded to Caleb Swan & also the amounts paid by you to Lieut^t Marks & Ensign Smith which leaves a balance due by you on the account to the United States of Five Hundred forty five Dollars and Sixty five Cents which corresponds with what you make it. the balance appearing due from you as annexed being Three hundreds and forty One Dollars and thirty three Cents to each balance it is necessary [Page 71 YPU01]
