I received your letter of the 29th
wherein you promise shortly to render your acc[ounts]
and vouchers for the expenditure of the money n[ow at]
your debit on the books of this Office, not having [since]
heard from you since. I have to renew my requ[est that]
no time may be lost in transmitting such vou[chers]
as will enable me to close your accounts. Shou[ld this]
object be neglected your name must unavoida[bly]
appear on the abstract of delinquents to be laid [before]
Congress within the first week in January [next]
which I am very desirous should not be the ca[se] &
therefore trust you will immediately comply w[ith]
my request. I am &c
