[undecipherable] my Account can [undecipherable] a matter that I could have been thought to Suspect that omission.— My receipts in your hands undoubtedly prove that that Money has been in the accounts of M^r [undecipherable], [undecipherable] the [undecipherable] as you will peruse— by the inclosed Account & [undecipherable] value To Monthly, Stoppages as included with the Pay Master General with the Balance of 85$ neither of 45$ is made up I received my [undecipherable] by order of the General & the end of June I therefore remained in debt to the United States of the Sum thus charged to my debit after I was relieved to [the?] [Westward?] as you will by this Sum [undecipherable] [undecipherable].
